It is all about a girl called Tracy Beaker and her mum put her into a care home because she was a actress and apparently she is a famous one. Tracy waits years and years for her mum to come. Then one day her mum phones the Care home that Tracy lives in and tells them that she is coming round and if she likes and Tracy's personality then she might take her home! Ofcourse Tracy is very excited and wants nothing to go wrong. Tracy's ( rubbish) care worker and she doen't do anything for her.But Tracy has got a foster mum and of course Tracy's REAL mum wants her the most. So the book is about that. From Ceitidh.
